A fast-growing and ambitious company within the electrical services sector is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Tender Executive to join its expanding team. With a commitment to delivering excellence and securing new business through high-quality tender submissions, this role is central to their business development strategy.
The Role:
The Tender Executive will be responsible for sourcing, managing, and preparing compelling tender submissions for both public and private sector opportunities. Working closely with senior leadership and project teams, this individual will ensure each submission is strategic, well-structured, and aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and track tender opportunities via procurement platforms and online portals.
- Manage full tender processes, including PQQs, RFQs, ITTs, and frameworks.
- Coordinate and compile key supporting documents (e.g. policies, case studies, CVs, and financials).
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to gather accurate bid information.
- Ensure all submissions are on time and meet branding, formatting, and compliance standards.
- Monitor and evaluate tender performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Assist with industry accreditations and renewals (e.g., CHAS, Constructionline).
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Demonstrable experience in tender writing, submissions, or bid coordination.
- Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and tender portals.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage tight deadlines.
- Industry experience in electrical or construction is advantageous, though not essential.
Desirable (but not essential):
- Familiarity with frameworks, public sector procurement, and compliance documentation.
- Experience with design or tender tools such as InDesign.
