Dispensing Optician / Optical Assistant

Pay: £24,420.00-£35,000.00 per year

A well-established independent opticians practice is seeking a full-time, permanent Dispensing Optician or Optical Assistant to join its friendly and professional team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing a warm, professional, and personalised experience for every patient
• Dispensing spectacles and advising on appropriate lens options
• Supporting patients with frame styling and selection to suit their lifestyle and prescription
• Delivering consistently high standards of customer care
• Working collaboratively as part of a close-knit team
• Assisting with day-to-day practice duties and maintaining a welcoming environment
• Contributing to decisions around frame ranges and brands stocked in the practice

Skills and Experience:

• Qualified Dispensing Optician or experienced Optical Assistant
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong interest in eyewear styling and premium frame brands
• Enthusiastic, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Willingness to engage with the latest developments and technology in the optical industry
• Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
