As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the reach of cutting-edge energy solutions. Leveraging your expertise, you’ll identify new opportunities, forge lasting partnerships, and drive revenue growth across B2B and B2C markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Growth: Identify and secure new opportunities in energy efficiency and renewable energy sectors.
  • Client Engagement: Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Strategic Execution: Develop and implement strategies to exceed sales targets and align with market trends.
  • Promotion: Champion energy solutions, such as solar PV, heat pumps, and energy assessments, showcasing their value and ROI.
  • Market Insight: Analyse industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to inform growth strategies.
  • Proposals & Presentations: Craft compelling proposals tailored to client needs, highlighting innovative solutions.
  • Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and customer satisfaction.
  • Performance Tracking: Report on sales activity, pipeline health, and market insights using CRM tools.

What We’re Looking For

Key qualifications include:

  • A background in Business Development or Sales within renewable energy or energy efficiency sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of energy solutions, including solar PV, heat pumps, and government schemes like ECO4 and Boiler Upgrade Scheme.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Strategic mindset with an entrepreneurial approach.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A robust network in the energy sector is highly desirable.
  • A full UK driving license, with flexibility for travel.
