Duties:
- Provide high-quality administrative support to lawyers and legal executives
- Prepare and manage legal documents and correspondence
- Conduct audio typing and word processing of documents
- Manage diaries, schedule appointments, and organise meetings
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external parties
- Maintain filing systems
- Assist in research tasks and document preparation for court cases
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and post promptly and professionally
- Utilise IT skills to work with legal software, Excel spreadsheets, and Outlook calendars
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word for document preparation
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines efficiently
- Strong IT skills including audio typing, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Fast and accurate typing speed to type legal documents efficiently
