Duties:

  • Provide high-quality administrative support to lawyers and legal executives
  • Prepare and manage legal documents and correspondence
  • Conduct audio typing and word processing of documents
  • Manage diaries, schedule appointments, and organise meetings
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external parties
  • Maintain filing systems
  • Assist in research tasks and document preparation for court cases
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and post promptly and professionally
  • Utilise IT skills to work with legal software, Excel spreadsheets, and Outlook calendars

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word for document preparation
  • Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines efficiently
  • Strong IT skills including audio typing, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
  • Fast and accurate typing speed to type legal documents efficiently
