Job Description

Position: Property Manager
This is a brilliant opportunity to make yourself an addition to a passionate, hardworking team with the focus of providing high quality, customer centered service. In this role, it will be your duty to manage relationships with clients/customers, ensuring excellent quality of service.

Responsibilities include:
-Producing, booking, and managing valuation appointments and viewings of properties.
-Marketing and production of new properties.
-Supervising applicant registrations, ensuring high quality tenant list.
-Following up from appointment and welcoming/providing feedback where appropriate.
-Conducting screening for tenants negotiating new tenancies and overseeing referencing of new tenants.
-Preparing and managing paperwork for new tenancies and conducting inspections for properties.
-Presenting as a main contact for property owners and tenants whilst adhering to landlord’s management requirements.
-Arranging maintenance work to the satisfaction of property owners and their tenants.
-Securing client’s investments but managing inspections and ensuring certificates are provided as scheduled.
-Developing trusting, professional relationships with contractors.
-Negotiating in a timely manner and ensuring completion of tenancy renewals.
-Assisting in raising invoices, lettings banking and assisting the Lettings Manager.
-Producing and presenting reports on departmental and individual performance.
-Attending daily meetings for teams to develop their performance and approach.
-Supervising junior colleagues’ development within their role.
-Reading and attending regular training to build on existing knowledge of industry and CPD.
-Attending and part-taking in networking events.
-Actively considering and maintaining presentation standards of the office environment.
-Obtaining ARLA Level 3 Residential Lettings & Property Management.

What we are looking for:
-Previous experience delivering high-quality customer service.
-Ability to interact confidently with a variety of people/personalities, especially those that may be challenging.
-Organisational skills with ability to prioritise tasks effectively working towards deadlines whilst staying motivated.
-Confidence and competence using technology and experience with Microsoft Office or other relevant software.
-Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work well independently/with minimal supervision.
-Easily adaptable and ability to use initiative to effectively respond to changing priorities and/or conditions.
-Enthusiasm and confidence.
-Full, clean driving license.

Job Type: Full-time [Mon-Fri 08:30-17:30 (08:00 start Tuesdays)
Share of Saturdays 08:30-16:00 (or until 17:30 if required).]
Some flexibility required for out-of-hour appointments or response.
Share of bank holidays.
Salary: Up to £25,000.00 per year
